Zong...ing in Paseo de Sta. Rosa

So, a couple of weeks ago, my family and I went on a small trip down south - Paseo de Sta. Rosa.  It's a commercial compound where you'll find really nice restos and boutiques.  What's so great about the place is that it's not crowded and that its open-air design (it is like a spanish courtyard) allows the breeze from Tagaytay relax you as you shop or dine.

It really wasn't our first time there.  So I can actually say a few words about the place.

This place could be a shopping haven for some, because it houses a number of outlet stores!!!!!  Yes, these outlet stores have merchandises on sale all year round!

There are some other regular stores like:

And of course, everybody's favorite ---> Restos/Fastfood chains (just to name a few):

Well, I've only named a few stores.  These are by far the ones I remember most coz we have actually eaten a couple of times at these joints.

But since, we wanted to try out something new, we actually have found a new resto sitting very near the Marks & Spencer outlet store.  It is called Zong.

The interiors are really neat and very minimal.  Food is actually good.  Asian.  We had:

Lemon Chicken @ Php 228

Hot Prawn Salad @ Php 328
(my fave! pretty close to Gloria Maris' version)

Yang Chow Fried Rice @ Php 258

Of course, we took advantage of the House Tea
(in all fairness, theirs taste good compared to other chinese restos)

Obviously, the price is very reasonable.  So... we left with smiles on our tummy and faces :)

Oh did I mention that they have really nice and friendly staff?
Well, if you guys are en route to Tagaytay, or just heading south, I suggest you take a stroll at the Paseo de Sta. Rosa and have a nice chillaxin' stop over.  :)

*Zong has a branch at Westgate Alabang, and The Fort.
